implementation

FEANIX is not yet a finished product – and that was precisely the starting point. No demonstration, no traditional product presentation. Instead: a film that shows what a concept can envision, achieve, and represent.

For the Diehl booth at ILA 2026, we developed a looping film for a 3.5 × 3.5-meter LED wall. Directly in front of it, suspended at a height of approximately 1.5 meters, was a full-scale physical replica of FEANIX – positioned horizontally, floating freely in space. The film and the object formed a single entity: the replica gave the concept a physical form, while the film lent it depth, meaning, and movement. Viewers stood in front of the object and simultaneously saw what lay behind it.

Look development

The visual concept follows a clear narrative structure: The film begins not with the product, but with the idea behind it. From a nearly empty frame, delicate construction lines emerge – a technical drawing that creates itself. Then comes the reveal: The FEANIX materializes as a sculptural form – smooth, angular, dark – exuding a calm that radiates control. From this point on, the loop unfolds across five thematic chapters – Multi Domain, Swarm & Team, Sensors, Networking, and Autonomy & Intelligence – which weave seamlessly into one another and further enhance the floating object with each level.

The visual language ranges from technical drawings to digital sculpture: delicate UI fragments, concentric structures, kinetic typography, glitch-like data patterns. Subtle text and information blocks appear only at the moment of each visual highlight – concise, precise, a single word. The use of color is deliberately restrained: deep black as the background, cool gray and metallic tones for the missile, nuanced colors in the data layers – always subordinate to the content, never an end in itself.

In the end, the image dissolves. Back to the line. Back to the idea. The loop begins anew.
