As in previous years, we once again delivered the comprehensive motion design for the HENKEL SUMMIT 2026 – the annual gathering of Henkel’s top management.
What made this year special: Henkel is celebrating its 150th anniversary!

At the center of the design process was the question of how the lion as a defining symbol and Henkel’s 150-year anniversary could be translated into a contemporary motion language. The goal was not to use both elements merely as decoration, but to give them a clear narrative function.


The lion was conceived as a recurring, identity-defining motif –sometimes subtly integrated, sometimes deliberately highlighted –serving as a visual unifying element across all formats. At the same time, the anniversary was reflected in the rhythm, dramaturgy, and fine details: as an attitude that connects tradition with the future. This resulted in a motion design that honors Henkel’s history while establishing a clear, contemporary expression.

In addition to the four scenario films, we created four thematic pitches to introduce the keynote speakers, offering a brief and concise visual overview of the topics covered in each presentation.




Making of:
As part of Henkel’s 150th anniversary, the existing visual identity was purposefully refined and adapted to the expanded corporate design. During the design phase, various visual concepts were developed, which ultimately shaped the final, modern, and minimalist style for subsequent production.



The portraits combine live-action footage shot against a green screen with high-quality motion graphics to create a seamless overall presentation. Additional assets, such as icons and graphics, were created using AI based on our own sketches – ensuring an efficient production process and a visually sophisticated look without the need for complex 3D production.
